“The Oak Tree and the Cypress” explores the ins and outs of one of the most potent human experiences: Love. Based on Kahlil Gibran’s “The Prophet,” as well as assorted poetry from Pablo Neruda and Emily Dickinson, the cast takes on the complex experience of love and connection, including the fears and insecurities of commitment and the effects of our world on our relationships.
