This ensemble-created performance is a personal and provocative response to the 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting. In this piece, a community’s grief over massacre takes many different forms. Through ritual, original song and movement, the ensemble leads the audience into a journey confronting the grief, hysteria and confusion that this gut wrenching crime caused. A visually compelling performance full of music, heart, and insight, Pulse seeks a way to rebuild a community fractured by tragedy.
